FR : Et bonsoir à tous, j'espère que vous allez bien ~

Et voilà la dernière commande en date, voir même, la dernière commande de 2023, pour Noctis Première commande de sa part, il souhaitait voir ses deux OCs, Aïnzelle (gauche) et Arios (droite) prendre vie, quittant le domaine de ce dernier pour leur première aventure ensemble !

Cette commande a, comme un bon vin, eu besoin de temps. Bon, en réalité, j'ai été tiraillée entre l'envie de bien faire et l'incapacité de voir où aller, ni comment y aller. J'avais dès le départ envie de travailler un peu comme pour un key art d'anime, avec des personnages et un premier plan bien délimité, avec lignes, et un décor plus peint... Mais comme tout était à faire, aussi bien les designs des personnages que celui du domaine en fond, j'y suis allée à tâtons. Le rendu final, bien qu'élaboré (au vu de mes standards actuels =w, aurait sans doute gagné à choisir concrètement un style, soit anime, soit réaliste, mais cette illustration n'en reste pas moins un terrain d'expérimentations qui m'aurait encore bien appris. Here's my latest commission, the last one from 2023, and it is for Noctis! For their first commission, they wanted to see their two OCs, Ainzelle (left) and Arios (right), leaving the later's domain to go on their first adventure together!

This commission took time, like a good wine. Who am I kidding- I've struggled between my desire to deliver and my inability to actually see where I was going, let alone know how I would go there. I knew from the start that I wanted to imitate the overall feeling of anime key art, with properly rendered characters in the foreground and a more abstract/painted background... But I had to create everything from the ground up, from the characters design to the domain's look, so I felt my way along. Although elaborate (by my current standards =^, the end result would have benefited from actually choosing a style, whether anime-like or more realistic, instead of this strange mix, but this illustration still remains for me a great playground for experimentations, and I still got to learn a lot from it. Hoping you'll like it as well!~
