This is awesome! I love how the octopus looks shiny and smooth while the man has a textured aspect to him. The only part that looks awkward are his fingers.

Quite an incredible illustration. The style and the color depth really makes the image pop (not to mention the perfet subject!). I love your traditional work the best; there is so much grit and detail to the paintings, and gives it a character all its own.
Great use of the subtle blue in contrast to all the rusty tones. And, I think I've mentioned this before, but your rendition of Cthluhu is my favorite out of any other I've seen.

Yeah I have been getting the itch to go back to traditional medium for a bit. I actually think so much digital these past few years has actually helped my analog skills. We shall see. I do miss the subtle characteristics and flaws of the paper and medium which I have yet to duplicate with the computer.
