Description
Before I say anything else, this one would have taken me ICREDIBLY long to finish, if I had not figured out how to use the pen tool in a special way in photoshop. (yes, I figured this out on my own ^^). I used a quick trick to get the curves right on, then I figured what I was doing was the same steps over and over again, thats when I figured out how to use "Action" (God Bless Actions!! ). With the action keys I made, it was easy as a few buttons without even trying.

So anyways, about the picture.....

This here is a character of a good friends of mine that goes by the name of San (I found his character very interestingly funny, and I've known him for over a year now ^^ ). I missed his birthday sometime ago, and didn't get the chance to make/get him something. So this is more of a late birthday gift art.... thingy.... and stuff...

Ninjas are always cool, they flip out all the time, chop off head without thinking twice about them, and all sorts of cool stuff

This has to be one of my hardest drawing and CGing I have ever done, cause sometimes it can be a real pain (artists block >< ). This has been my most successful attempts to use a difficult to colour light source (I think).

I used flash to lineart and base colour it, and used Photoshop to do the rest.

I'm really happy with the outcome of this one, I hope you like it San. Happy Late Birthday, and stuff X3 And I bet what the picture is about too ^^
