Hello guys! I wanted to share my latest exercise from CGCookieI'm currently doing their "Concept Art Fundamentals" flow just to refresh some concepts that I haven't fully understood, such as lightning, contrast and color. I find it really cool that I'm not afraid to dive into color anymore, I used to start my paintings in gray scale. I strongly recommend this website if you want to learn a few tricks or if you want to complete a few of their exercises.

Wow really helpful! I always tend to use just darker tons of the colors for my shadows.. I only use other color if the background asks for it... :v I need to train a bit more!

I used to do that to! Or just picked any color and put it down and if it looked good then great lol! I've never really understood the science behind it but now I do

Yeah! haha Well, living and learning! A good thing to do is search for photos that show exactly the kind of light & shadow that I want, cause I know that the pic won't lie to me haha
