Description
Tried to shoot a comic in the snow today, but damn, it was just too freakin' cold. My hands were frozen by the third shot, and poor Red kept falling in the snowbank. But he didn't complain the whole time. What a trooper. Don't worry, I was totally sharing that tea with him.Thrust is smug because he got to stay inside by the warm heating vent and watch me fumble around with a camera and frozen fingers through the window.
Transformers belong to HasTak.
Art is mine.
I do not have a tiny thermometer. I WISH I DID.

XD Oh dear, Red's expression is pure win. He bites any harder on that thermometer and he'll be eating glass and mercury! XD
I thought about doing a comic in the snow. That's as far as it got, really. Hehe. I'm not a real big fan of the cold. ^_^;;; Not to mention I can see one of the guys here sticking ice cubes down my shirt in the middle of the night as revenge for putting them out into the cold.
Oh hey, there's an idea! Red can stick ice cubes in Thrust's slipper. XD Now who's the smug one?

Y'know, I wonder if mercury is a tasty treat for robots ...
I did a snow shoot before on a nicer day, and I've decided that snow is perfect for these guys. They just look so beautiful in the reflected light! Even in the grayish tone of a snowfall, the photos come out really crisp (even with my cold shaky hands, lol). I will miss the snow when it is gone, if for that reason alone XD
Oh, don't give either of them any ideas! I'm just getting over the last sibling squabble they had. Red is on forced bed rest right now too, which leaves Thrust in charge and me with plenty to worry about

o_O I never thought of that. Maybe it is? XD
Wow, really? I might venture out if only to see that. Though I'll have to wait until no one's home. I can imagine the looks I'd get otherwise. I already get looks for buying 'children toys'. Silly, silly family. XD
Ah, but...! ~_^ And good to hear Red's resting. The poor thing. I'm surprised Thrust isn't still hiding. XDXDXD

Yes, it was all resolved, don't worry. I just need to finish the comics XD And then I have another set planned and scripted that are supposed to take place before 'Raj gets here ... but he's already here. So that will be interesting.
I bought Red on Christmas Eve and brought him to my mother's for Christmas dinner. I set him up a little plate and everything. After the looks my mother gave me, I am immune to all criticism about buying toys (keep in mind I am 26 and have a university degree )
I also brought Red to visit my family in another city over New Year's, and my little cousins thought he was the greatest thing ever. They actually helped me make the first photocomic. Go figure

Haha, I'm only a year younger then. I still get all manner of weird looks when I come in with a Toy-R-Us bag and happily tell them who I got. Not brave enough to set any of them a plate at the table though. XD
My little cousins love my TFs too! I babysit a lot for my Aunt and they always want me to bring over a few. XD They've helped once or twice but they're so full of energy, they're bouncing off the walls after a photo or two. They like watching and playing with my other TFs while I explain what I'm doing.

I was very excited about Red. I had just bought him that day, and he was the first toy I've had since I was a kid. Even before I took him out of the package, he was "alive" to me and has been ever since. So of course I brought him to spend Christmas with me. Also I really do have no shame in public ... doubly none around family XD
Heh, I refer to my toys as "who" and "him" instead of "what" too. But I guess I either have very understanding friends, or everyone is humouring me because they think I'm crazy and I'm going to eat their spleen or something

Hmmm, spleen. Haha, my friends are far more understanding, but then they collect games and anime the way I collect TFs.

My friends at work want me to bring my toys in so they can "meet" them, lol. Everyone there talks about their boyfriends or girlfriends all day ... I talk about my toys. XD

I'm falling more and more for Thrust. He's a lot sturdier than Red is, especially right now with his loose joints, so he's been getting played with more.

That's great. It's always good to realize just how much you love a toy like him-- It makes you love them MORE.
Just today I brought Shrapnel to school and everyone thought he was a Beetleborg.
I've been playing with him and Soundwave a lot recently. I have real appreciation for my Soundwave--that is one fun toy.
I think this means Soundie and Shrappy are getting to be close friends now.

Generations Soundwave? I saw him at the store not too long ago ... not someone I would buy though. I'm being very selective about who I add to my little family right now. We all must get along

Oh no no. I'm sorry I didn't clarify-- I have the G1 Soundwave.
The 80's toys were the best. They're sturdy little things! I didn't even know there was a Generations Soundwave.... *looks him up*

Ahhh, well then, no wonder you love him so!
Someday I will try to find the G1 Starscream I had as a kid. I'm sure he's in a box somewhere in my mother's basement. Perhaps several boxes. He may need some TLC and some new parts

Oh yes.
WHAT. Dude! You were a lucky child, I give you that. I remember having McDonalds ARMADA toys... I would eat there so many times and get so many Starscreams when all I wanted was a Hotshot. Now that I'm older, I have friends that work at McDonalds, so when the live action TF movie toys came out in Mickey Dee's, I only had to buy one meal for, like, 7 toys.
Good luck with finding your Screamy. He's the really soggy, whiny box that only accomplishes counterproductive tasks.

Lol, according to my brother, we got that Starscream at a garage sale in Saskatchewan when were were like, five or six or something. He has a better memory than me, so I trust him on that.
Heh, I'll look for that box. I'll probably be able to hear it ... "If *I* were on the top of the stack, *I* wouldn't fall over and break the Christmas decorations, blah blah blah ..."

Glad Red was a sport. Hot tea and warm blankets are the perfect remedy for being frozen
Mine have taken one look at the snow in the window and the -36 windchill on the TV and sworn they're not moving from the bookshelf until spring.

Yeah, Red was like "omfg, are you SERIOUS", but he didn't actually say a word. He toughed it out and I was the one who wimped out after three shots, lol.
