Despite what most Nerazim and Tal'darim believed, Khalai protoss did have their own version of privacy, even prior to the loss of the Khala. Although all Khalai protoss had been connected once through the Khala, each individual had their own private "corner" where they could keep mental musings and images they did not wish for the collective. Physical touch, however, strengthens the psyonic contact between two or more protoss, to the point where such hidden thoughts and feelings are basically non-existent. Therefore in Khalai culture acts like public hand-holding was, and still is, a huge deal, and is undeniable evidence of the relationship of the protoss involved. Some even argue that such a behavior might as well be a "synonym" for the proprosal itself.
oooOOOooo
A not as fast as I have hoped, but still relaxing and fun sketch, mostly inspired by this epic music titled Lara.
Now, again, I am not a "shipper", and for multiple, multiple reasons I'd prefer not to be associated with that.... well, "community" is too generous. Let's go with "WW2 minefield", I think that is more fitting. So I would not like to be involved with that WW2 minefield in any shape or form, thank you.
I am, however, a big fan of character-driven stories, and I am happy to get behind a pairing if that pairing actually works and isn't creepy as sssshit, you know. Hell, I can show interest towards Artanis-Vorazun ships too, I think they can work very well. Why Artanis-Selendis? I dunno, shared history I guess. Would be nice to one day chart it out a bit more, see if it can truly work. Also, my girl Selendis has criminally small spotlight. She is (possibly) the hero of the Brood War saga, come on, maaan!
So please enjoy this relaxing sketch, as we wait for spring to finally come back.
