Species: (Cursed/immortal) Mountain Nymph
Powers: Flight, minimal healing powers, *In guiding souls to the Gate of Afterlife, Guide sings and dances to lead the way to the Gate (although she is also able to guide specific souls out of the gate if she is ordered to do so).
Occupation/role: To guide souls to the Gate of Afterlife

Personality: Kind and gentle, Guide is a soft individual who can be quite the chatter box once she's comfortable with or curious about the other person. She does fall into a melancholic slump at times when she sees mortal couples together, wistfully wishing that she and Gatekeeper could be the same.

Bio:
Amaryllis was a mountain nymph in Artemis’ retinue. She had fallen in love with Zander, a Chthonic under Hades, who returned her feelings, but Artemis had violently opposed to their relationship and laid a curse on them. Zander could no longer hear Amaryllis’ voice, the voice he loved to hear, and the two were no longer able to share gentle caresses with each other. Later when Zander is appointed to be the Gatekeeper to the Gate of Afterlife, Artemis offers Amaryllis to take the role of the Guide to make them even more miserable; bound to work together for eternity, but with the curses Artemis laid on them still in effect.

She tries to remain cheerful with Zander, even though she’s saddened that the endless amount of time they can spend together doesn’t seem to be enough if they can’t touch and he can't hear her sing for him. When they aren’t together, Amaryllis watches mortal couples enviously.

Powers: Flight, the power to open the Gates of Afterlife for Guide to guide the souls in (very few times out)

Likes: Guide's company, Guide herself, somehow also creepily likes to sharpen his scythe for no reason
Dislikes: Artemis, his job, Hades, suicidal people, the curse on Guide and himself, purity shit
Personality: Silent and broody, Gatekeeper tends to stare everyone down at first, most of the time refusing to speak unless it's completely necessary since Guide would usually do the talking/explaining, even if he can't hear her. Particularly bitter to any mention of the Greek Gods.

Bio:
When they first met, Zander had not been interested in Amaryllis, but grew to love her in time when she persisted in spending time with him. Because Artemis was opposed to their relationship, they had been cursed and he was no longer able to hear Amaryllis sing or speak to him, or able to touch her. After he was appointed as the Gatekeeper to the Gate of Afterlife and when Artemis offered Amaryllis to take the role as the Guide, Zander grew even bitterer towards the Gods and is more than happy to be away from them.

Zander dutifully does his job in protecting the Gate and Amaryllis. When he’s not with her, he will be brooding somewhere.
