points for my uber creative title...This assignment was to make a editorial illustration for an article relating blood to spiders' mating preferences.
obviously I took a much... cuter take on it rather than the whole, "Gyah! the female eats him!" thing.

Haha! Oh wow! You know, I didn't even notice the extra arms at first, and then when I did, I was left astonished at how you could add so many limbs and not make it look awkward or out of place in anyway.
I could imagine this as a poster in the rooms of students everywhere, somehow. Love the idea, and the style :3 (and I'm arachnophobia, so that's saying something!)

lol yes, happy you like it! As for the arms, I kind of sat there and sketched three different ways they could be sitting and fit them together to keep some sort of natural feeling to their poses :]

Besides, scientifically speaking, the whole female eats him bit really isn't half as common as everyone makes it out to be. Just a tired cliche.
