It is a political piece. The robot is perfection in might but evil, and the nazis love it. It really sums up their whole ideological flaw, a creation stripped of all humanity in order to be efficient.

The Scientist: Behold! Cyber soldier number one! This, my brothers, will be the weapon that will bring our foes to their knees!
Cyber Soldier: All hail Germany! All hail Hitler! All hail the third Empire!
The General: Mr. Doctor, the leader wishes to know how soon the cyber soldiers will be ready for mass production?
The Scientist: ...My friend, you can tell Mr. Hitler that all we need is his approval, and our factory will begin production of the new German army.
Cyber Soldier: Everything for Germany!
Just a little script I came up with, with both the spoken German and English subtitles.
I'll tell you this, if Germany had actually made stuff like that, we'd have been screwed over by the Reich upteen-million times before the war ended, and who knows who'd still be standing?

If you look at some of the declassified stuff they did, it's pretty amazing what they worked on. However, I must say I strongly disagree with the means to which some of it was accomplished.
