Make him stand out more than characters like shadow, like...
make him more intelligent, more skilled, and less aggressive.

Ye right? I got the idea from some villains, like a certain one from Toriko.
Honestly wouldn't mind characters like that, being very strong, who almost
never lose, have a lot of knowledge, experience etc...while also being
on a villain(?) side, so it wouldn't be so one sided at all times, as in heroes winning.
This way things wouldn't get predictable as often and makes the watcher excited,
not knowing what is going to happen.
Also got this idea from someone like Mihawk from one piece, a very powerful character like that being
introduced at the beginning of the anime, and despite the main cast getting a whole lot stronger after few years, Mihawk
would still stomp them no problem. It'd be cool to have the same with this new character, and if not, them someone
else in the future if you ever feel like creating one.
