I love captain toad, and always wished they made an Amiibo of this character, but they didn't... so I made my own! It has a working LED light in the headlamp. The LED is wired through his limbs, which I hollowed out with a drill, and then into the base, connecting to a watch battery. The watch battery is then attached to this small button behind toad on the base. It was quite a process to make this, but very worth it! I use milliput for all of the details on toad, and then painted with acrylic paint afterwards. The backpack however, is sculpted with FIMO soft polymer clay. I use something called milliput for most of the details, that air dries, and then I painted it. The only part that is polymer clay is the backpack. I baked that by itself, and then super glued it onto toads back. I'm not really sure how the amiibo would hold up in the oven, I was too scared to try!
