Looked better in my head...The shadows are weird.
A rather sad scene of The Royal Guards telling fillies Tia and Luna that their parents have died. The sisters knew it was coming, so they hid in a closet in hopes the guards wouldn't find them.
I might re-draw this...

IMO, in honor/reverence of their parents they declined to take the titles of queens, instead remaining princesses, in memory of their parents.
