Captain Earth is a criminally underrated anime from 2014. The mech designs are bonkers huge and the series itself is awesome.

I found out that this was made into a kit roughly over a year ago and finally bought one last summer. Kotobukiya always make amazing models but sometimes need a bit more attention to detail work. So much painting went into this project and believe me it needed it. otherwise it would have looked beyond stark and lifeless.

The build itself wasn't particularly difficult per se, no different than a more advanced High Grade. But it was intricate. The shoulders are very different from anything ive built before. They use a far more elaborate construction and seem to just float.

The articulation is fairly good and slightly stiff. Its also very, very tiny, probably five to six inches tall and is non-scale.

Overall this was a great build and highly recommend it if you can find one.
