Finally, trying to finish up a reference sheet for Teen Dream! But this time, I am trying to be more unique with reference sheets.

Being a cursed ghost, Teen Dream is deprived of emotions towards humans, and has a hard time being affiliated with other monsters. All he sees them as are cattle for his butchering. He is always hungry for happiness, striving to take away hopes and dreams of young teenagers and young adults. Teen Dream is a mute, both from his autism when alive, and now his lips have formed together during his submerge time under water underneath the bandanna. Despite being mute, Teen Dream makes himself well-known to the victims by invading their dreams and mind-set, destroying standards and balance as everything the victim sees normal becomes distorted and wrong.

Happiness is extremely rare to see Teen Dream in, as well as expressions. He does not have expressions, except the permanent scowl on his face from eternal anger.

   Bandanna - this bandanna was what the kidnappers used on Teen Dream to keep him silent as they took him away.

Powers/Abilities:

Nightmare Grip - As the victim enters their dreamland, and finds it all in rubble and darkness, they then are surprised when Teen Dream suddenly appears. They will turn and try to run, but using his darkness, a flock of bloodied shadow-hands merge out of the ground and grab the victim by their legs, so that they cannot move (these hands are the souls victimized by Teen Dream in the past.) Teen Dream then approaches to wrap his hands around their throat and squeeze tightly at their neck. With one more look and a tilt of his head as the victim's neck is being crushed, he then bends their neck in an unnatural angle backwards as far as he can to break their neck. It is a slowly and agonizing process that Teen Dream does on purpose to make his victims experience their worse nightmare - excruciating pain as they die.

Manipulation - As Teen Dream is within the mind of the victim, he slowly torments them by playing off the minor fears that lead up to their major ones. He is able to morph and materialize into any entity that the victim fears greatly:

  If they fear a certain person from a traumatic past of any crime, Teen Dream morphs into that very person and torments the victim by making them experience the same trauma as they did before. (Yes, any form of trauma
  or abuse they suffered from the past WILL be experience all over again until they are at the brink of insanity. Ex: a victim suffered beatings from their parents/guardians - Teen Dream will make them go through that very
  past again, simulating everything to feel real, even the mental and emotional pain.)

   If they fear any animal or any form of heavy paranoia, Teen Dream will materialize their entire mind-space to become that very setting, time and place, with the fear simulating. These visions are indeed physical, and can
  either badly wound the victim or kill them in their sleep within their dream. (Ex: a victim had a terrifying past with wild dogs - Teen Dream will have the very memory play out again on the victim.)

   If the victim fears something that is not human or animal, Teen Dream can transform into the fear. (Ex: the victim fears the ocean and deep water - Teen Dream drops their sleeping form into a mile-long deep pit of water,
  then liquefies his entire body to go under and watch them struggle to escape. When the time is right, his water-form forces itself into the victims mouth to drown them faster.)

Heart Ache - Teen Dream DOES NOT KILL IMMEDIATELY when he invades the dreams of the victim. He makes them experience different hallucinations as the days go on, up to seven months until he has them completely broken. Victims of Teen Dream will experience the following hallucinations:

   Bruises begin to appear on your back, large as baseballs.

   Pain flares within your chest, only to show through x-rays that you have scars that resemble (blunt-human nails) inside your chest.

   A vision of a man walking pass you at the corner of your eyes are constant.

   You are feeling your stomach aching, as of knots are twisting, your intestines tightened to where it's too painful to eat.

   Your throat begins to experience the same pain as your chest, and if you're lucky, you'll see fingers in your throat if you check in the mirror, only for them to quickly slither back down your throat.

   Your vision becomes foggy, as food looks rotten or moldy, too disgusting to eat.

   Dreams become horrid thoughts of your worse fear (being judged; seeing terrifying events that happened within your past; reliving a traumatic experience.)

   Happiness feels like a stranger, drifting further and further into the depths of depression as everything feels hopeless.

   Lucid Dreamers (those who know fully-well that they are dreaming and take control.)
   Psychics and blessed holy objects.
   Any influence to the victims' brain (such as drugs, alcohol, etc. that can throw him off or trap him.)

Cause of Death:
   After being beaten by three kidnappers, bludgeoned to unconsciousness, they wrapped his body up within bed sheets and rope to get rid his body. They drove his body to the famous Tacoma Narrows Bridge to dump his body
  down into the stretch of river. But Oliver was still alive, stirring awake when he felt his body being carried to the railing. His body was tossed off the bridge, plummeting headfirst into the water. His head slammed against a rock
  underwater, breaking his neck. However, this did not break his vertebrae - only paralyzing him as he was swept down the river, soon after sinking into the deep water and drowning.

Brief Backstory:
   Oliver Davison was born within the start of the Roaring 20's, to a couple that was ready for a new life of prosperity. They were just like any other family living in the big city of Tacoma, always having a great time and not
  thinking twice as they spent their money on what they wanted. Oliver's father, named Hansel, was very proud to have a son, as much as he was proud to marry the woman he's loved for so long. Oliver's mother, Marsha, was
  proud to have a family she's wanted since the beginning of the 20's, and she was readied to have more children as well. As a child, Oliver was very outgoing and spontaneous, and was never fresh-out for words. He had a great
  sense of humor, cool and friendly towards the neighbors within their suburbs.

But that high-light in his life changed when 1929 hit, when the Great Depression rose. Instantly, Oliver and his family were living from prosperity to poverty, living the same conditions as everyone else suffered through. Oliver
  was 7-years-old at the time, and being thrown into a whole new situation he didn't understand frightened him. Their home became a tent, surrounded by thousands of tents and man-made wooden shacks for bigger families.
  The conditions was horrid, as the months went by to see that many of the Davisons' old friends were becoming ill of diseases. Because of the escalating counts of victims falling ill to various kinds of diseases, it didn't take long for
  the Davisons to catch one of the worse. Soon after a few months of living within a crowded, open-area of Seattle's Hooverville, Hansel was the first to die from pneumonia. Oliver and Marsha soon had to leave the tents to go live
  within a crowded apartment building that stood about six-stories. The absence of Hansel grew horribly bad on Marsha - she loved him so much, she cried herself to sleep every night.

That was when the situation became worse. After the 18th amendment was allowed, alcohol was spreading like wildfire for the depressed. Marsha took herself to the bottom of the bottle, drinking profusely to ignore the pain.
  Oliver was soon 14-years-old (1933) as he worked alongside his mother on a farm to produce tobacco, along with other parents that had children working as well. Oliver was no longer the bubbly boy as before. Since the death of
  his father, and the constant moving to different locations, crowded by people, he felt the need to shell himself up and never speak. He knew speaking would have no point, because everyday was the same torment. He wanted to
  assure his mother that everything would be okay, but she would remain in her thoughts to block out the words. She felt hopeless, and it hurt Oliver knowing he couldn't save her. Every night, as the family slept, Oliver stayed
  awake to give a prayer for his mother to be well, and to stay with him until this Depression would end. He did whatever he could, but soon after two years of poverty, Oliver couldn't find his mother when he woke the next
  morning. He asked a roommate where she had gone, and he told Oliver that she and a large crowd of people have gone to the railroads to catch a train to jump on and travel out of Tacoma to find work.

Hearing this, Oliver ran to the specific location of the railroads that the crowd had gathered to. So far, the crowd was lessening, but he couldn't find Marsha. The train soon left the area, and he went to see if Marsha had missed
  the train and was on the ground instead. She was on the ground - crushed and dead. She accidentally jumped at the wrong time, and didn't catch the railing. She fell and planted underneath the train, where she met her demise.
  Deep inside, as Oliver sat next to his mother's dead body, he knew that she may have wanted this release from the world. Even if this meant leaving him alone. He cried for hours, sitting next to her corpse, until a few homeless
  men found him and dragged him back home. They knew the pain of losing someone, but they didn't want Oliver sitting out there while authority would be walking around to arrest them for illegally train-hopping.

For the next few years alone, Oliver Davison raised himself as he did labor and moved around often to find better living space. Of course, both were hard on him, but all he wanted was to disappear.

Teen Dream's body eventually washed up onto shore, but in a secluded area. It was left there for a month, as one side of his body rot from air exposure, while his other side still laid underwater and slowly rotted.

He still shivers because of the coldness he experienced while underwater for so long.

He can snap his neck into place, but this is an agonizing process - his body will experience shots of pain bolting throughout as his neck straightens up. His body will make reactions - twitching and jolting as his neck cranes back upright on his shoulders.

Types of Victims:

Teenagers - When teens are in their vulnerable states of experiencing emotions and growth, Teen Dream can easily tap into their dreams and ruin their young lives. He enjoys to torment teenagers whom experienced horrible
  backgrounds (bullied, assault of all types, etc.) He slowly makes them experience different visions of his presence everyday - either finding fingers down their throats; an eyeball growing at the back of their shoulder; and
  experiencing horrible stomach aches. Teenagers easily break within a month, where some have committed suicide to stop the constant hallucinations or let Teen Dream kill them himself.

Young adults - Sometimes it's difficult to attack young adults. They've come out of the stages of hormone imbalance and are now trying to draw a straight line in their lives. Teen Dream likes to go after the ones whom cannot
  escape the depression that had came from their teenage lives, unable to let go of bad experiences that effect them in the present. Many dreams will be about judgement, constantly doubting the victim and pushing them away,
  awakening them with pure doubt of themselves and driving down into more sadness. And also with the same grotesque visions, young adults with also see the same thing. Some may also see a face growing at the side of their
  head, that's screaming for escape. Another hallucination are two arms growing out of the victim's back and latching onto something and not letting go, while the victim hears shouts and cries of self-hate.

Psychics - These victims are much more difficult to attack for Teen Dream. They have a guard up as they sleep and as they are awake, sensing his evil presence and keep him back with blessed items carried on their person. If
  Teen Dream is able to pry into their mind, the psychic and Teen Dream will be in a mental battle. Teen Dream will manipulate their entire mind to transform into a giant maze, for the victim to try and get to the end and save
  themselves. If they take too long, Teen Dream will eventually come out of the corners of their mind to kill them after they become exhausted and doubtful of success. Despite Teen Dream being able to find loops into the mind
  of a psychic, these victims can still save themselves by keeping their blessed relics close.

Lucid Dreamers - Lucid dream, basically meaning that the victim is conscious within their dream and trying to control the situation. It's somewhat of a challenge for Teen Dream, depending on how well the Lucid Dreamer can
  try to push back against his tactics. If it is an LSD trip or any drug ride, the Lucid Dreamer can easily win with control. If it is just Lucid Dreaming, Teen Dream can loop around the control and win.

Monsters - It depends on what type of monster this is. If it is a mindless creature, Teen Dream finds no interest. If it is a monster being controlled by another being (ex: Slenderman controlling Masky and Hoodie,) he may have
  a harder time manipulating them, since the source is from Slenderman. If it is a monster that works alone with no affiliation, and has a clear mind-set, Teen Dream will attack them for their raging emotions and feelings.

  head, that's screaming for escape. Another hallucination are two arms growing out of the victim's back and latching onto something and not letting go, while the victim hears shouts and cries of self-hate.

Psychics - These victims are much more difficult to attack for Teen Dream. They have a guard up as they sleep and as they are awake, sensing his evil presence and keep him back with blessed items carried on their person. If
  Teen Dream is able to pry into their mind, the psychic and Teen Dream will be in a mental battle. Teen Dream will manipulate their entire mind to transform into a giant maze, for the victim to try and get to the end and save
  themselves. If they take too long, Teen Dream will eventually come out of the corners of their mind to kill them after they become exhausted and doubtful of success. Despite Teen Dream being able to find loops into the mind
  of a psychic, these victims can still save themselves by keeping their blessed relics close.

Lucid Dreamers - Lucid dream, basically meaning that the victim is conscious within their dream and trying to control the situation. It's somewhat of a challenge for Teen Dream, depending on how well the Lucid Dreamer can
  try to push back against his tactics. If it is an LSD trip or any drug ride, the Lucid Dreamer can easily win with control. If it is just Lucid Dreaming, Teen Dream can loop around the control and win.

Monsters - It depends on what type of monster this is. If it is a mindless creature, Teen Dream finds no interest. If it is a monster being controlled by another being (ex: Slenderman controlling Masky and Hoodie,) he may have
  a harder time manipulating them, since the source is from Slenderman. If it is a monster that works alone with no affiliation, and has a clear mind-set, Teen Dream will attack them for their raging emotions and feelings.
