A wise man once said there are no perfect pictures, but there are perfect moments, and this sunset over the Callanish Standing Stones in Scotland, with a balanced composition of light and shadows, is certainly a perfect moment now immortalized in a photograph. The colours of bright yellow and vibrant orange opposing the dark, gloomy shades of blue are well captured, and they even strengthen the mystifying sight of the ancient stone monument.
Stonehenge is well-known basically all over the globe, but it's good to remember that other similar structures exist as well. Without such an elegant and skillfully taken photograph like this, I probably would have never even heard of the Callanish Standing Stones. But now I have, and I believe the respective deviant will go far in his career of photography.

A great photo with a impressive perspective. I am doing a research on megalithic monument alignementΒ (see my TED talk about this topic inΒ www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1pCenβ¦ ).Β
I would be very grateful if I could use your photo in a new presentation I am now preparing (of course, mentioning your authorship). Thank you very much.

The raw geologic fabric inherent in these stones is wonderfully displayed.Β

Great shot. The stones against that sunset(?), and the colour contrasts is fantastic.
