Description Blank version:

Like I said, Pokemon that are based off of items always get the short of the stick of what people identify as Pokemon, despite the amount of thought & creativity were put in most of them.
So this meme is not only to share some new ideas for Pokemon, but also appreciate those Pokemon that are based off of items.

#13.) Plasma Ball- Possibly for an evolutionary line/alternate from for Rotom, and it's typing would also be Electric/Ghost.

#12.) Gloves (more pacifically, Magician's gloves) - Another addition to the Buddy/Conjoined Pokemon (like Magneton, Dugtrio, Binacle, and Weezing as examples). How it works in design is just have a glowing aura around two white floating cartoony-like gloves (with little faces on them), creating an illusion that something is holding them, when actually the two gloves are the Pokemon.

The typing for this Pokemon would defiantly be pure Psychic, because magic/allusion is more associated with Psychic types.

#11.) Book- Remember this scene from Harry Potter 3? www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7GQFH…
Yeah, however, it won't look & act exactly like. It would be more of a illusion-creating/copycat Pokemon, once it's 'pages' are open, it either creates a fake Pokemon to fool it's opponents or it attacks be turning the right 'page' to find the perfect move to use.
And this would both useful in battle & learning (and perfect for trainers who are bookworms).

The type would be Fairy/Psychic because it's the same as magic books in Fairy Tales, full of random spells/attacks & hides cleverly.

#10.) Sprinkler- An ordinary sprinkler itself acts like a Pokemon already, it mostly hide in the glass & it 'attacks' at random time.
Design wise, it would like a little plastic flower, but it's typing is actually Steel/Water.

Hey! If Sudowoodo & Bonsly can look like Grass types, but are actually Rock type; why not this?

#09.) Pizza Cutter - Well, can't have a Pokemon based off of an ax or a chainsaw, but it still doesn't mean that a Pokemon based off of this kitchen utensil can be useful/dangerous of the battlefield.
Design wise, it would have eyes at the wooden/plastic part, be quadruped (four-legged), and it can flip it's body over (so the blade can switch from being at the front to the back).

A pure Steel typing would do it just fine.

#08.) Slinky- Maybe a Steel-type snake that can stretch, coil, and bounce into & back to shape.

#07.) Battery- This would fit with the Pokemon that you would find in power plants (like the Magnemite line, Voltorb line, and Rotom).
Instead of just looking like anthro battery, I see it looking like a hamster (as a nod to the stereotype of hamsters on wheels as sources of power) that's made out of batteries.

It's typing would be either pure Electric, or Electric/Poison because of the battery acid.

#06.) Bear Trap- Risque, yes, but's a risk someone would take when making this into a Pokemon. I see it looking like a Chain Chomp from Mario (which wouldn't be copyrighting because both Nintendo & Game Freak own Pokemon), and it would either be Steel/Ghost or Steel/Dark type.

#05.) Feather duster- This idea comes an anime adaptation of "Thumbelina," where a character named, Nobel the Sugar Fairy, becomes a feather duster to escape the body of the villain's henchman (who swallowed him, disguised as a fox).
Silly & weak as it might look, a feather duster Pokemon can create sandstorms & tornadoes as much as it can make an opponent have a sneeze/tickle fit. And it would be fitting for someone who want to make a Pokemon version of "Beauty & the Beast" (better off using something that is a feather duster than a Gourgeist).

It's typing would be Flying/Fairy.

#04.) Tiki - To fit in with the possible tropic theme of "Sun & Moon", and it's the most likely to actually be real, because an extra character tourist in "X & Y" gives the player a souvenir that strongly resembles a Tiki knick-knack.

This would also be a Fire/Grass type because Tikies are more associated with luaus & bonfires.

#03.) A teacup & teapot - This idea was inspired by the Alice in Wonderland gameplays/requests from "Disney's Magical World," where you have to battle giant possessed teapot & it's army of teacups that it produces. And it's an evolutionary line, so it starts off as a teacup & it evolves into a teapot.

Their typing would obviously be Fire/Water, because tea is mostly hot water & it could easily burn someone if the tea touches one's skin, depending on the temperature it was boiled on.

#02.) Pin cushion- Just like the teacup & teapot, it would be a Pokemon that is both seemingly harmless & cute, yet unexpectedly  dangerous at the same time. Never under estimate needles!

It's typing believe or not, is Bug/Steel. I repeat, Bug/Steel! A pin cushion based Pokemon is plush-like bug with the smaller pin cushion being it's head; and some of it's pins & needles are not just designed to be quills/stingers like a sea urchin, but it's legs as well.

#01.) Vintage Wind-Up Toy- Just imagine all of those old-fashion tin wind-up toys with the classic wind-up keys (that I used as a reference here) attached that your grandparents used to have. Now just imagine them being alive and helping you no matter what, even in battle. That's a wind-up toy based Pokemon in a nutshell.
It'll be like having a little (almost) steampunk robot traveling with you on your shoulder, in your backpack, or in your coat pocket that not only looks cute, but would help fight with you.

For design, I'd go with the turtle-based design (like the one in the picture) because it has more mobility & I thought it looked the cutest .

It's typing would be either pure Steel, or Steel/Fairy to reference toys that magical come to life in stories.

Enjoy!

"Well, can't have a Pokemon based off of an ax..." Haxorus says "Hi".

I feel a Book Pokémon would be more Ghost/Fairy; like you see in haunted houses with books flying off the shelves and attacking like bats.

I'd imagine a Battery Pokémon to be Electric/Steel, but capable of learning Poison attacks. Also, it's base form would be Electric/Ground, and based off the "Bagdad Battery"; a clay pot thought to be the worlds first battery.

I always thought that Haxorus was more of a dragon that ax.

It is a dragon, but it's tusks are clearly ax blades.

I really like some of these ideas, like the battery and plasma ball as pokemon.
