This little guy is Max from the famous/infamous comic book series/cartoon series/videogame, "Sam & Max."He may look cute, but he's visious and a total fowlmouth.
I've only seen only one episode of the show, and I can see why it was cancelled.
The show and comics were mostly aimed at teenagers and adults, but since everyone thinks that cartoons were just for kids, and it was on a Kid's show program (Fox Kids), and people didn't know how much dirty stuff was in the show....
So it's one of those shows who would watch when your parents were not at home.
As for the entire show itself, picture the world of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" if the Toon Town is alos the real world (at least to the characters), and with gags and acts of "Cool World" blend in.
Don't get me wrong it was a good show, but I didn't watched a lot becuase I was too young to know what was going in the cartoon, and I didn't get the Fox channel on my TV.
How do I picture the character of Max himself:
If you take the love-child of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and his white rabbit girlfriend from "Sleigh Bells" + mutated it with a pair of shark-teeth and super-natural powers = You get Max.

Great job on this. :-D Yeah, I've seen every episode of that short-lived series, and even though it was surprisingly good while it lasted, at least it left the air while it was still good. True, the violence and language might have been toned down in comparison to the comics, but it still got away with a lot for a kid's show. And, yeah, I could just see him calling Oswald "Dad", even if just to freak Oswald out [:-D])

Actually Max is a rabbit. A lagomorph is what a rabbit is, and the only time he insisted on lagomorph was when Sam called him a rodent, which he isn't.

Lagomorph doesn't include rodents. It includes rabbits, hares and pikas. Lagomorphs and rodents are both classes in the Glires clade, but they're not the same. Here, look .
