Personality:
Cyriel is rather timid and submissive in nature. That's partially due to her upbringing and past as a slave. She has the tendency to bottle up her emotions and then let them out in one burst of anger or sadness, which can be alienating to some. Most of the time she tries to be friendly and helpful however. It takes her a while to come out of her shell. She can also be rather flirty when she's in a confident mood.

History:
Growing up in the Saraph Nation, Cyriel was born as a slave. She's never known anything other than being one. She served Altair Bahur for most of her life, growing herbs and spices for him. Now and again she got in trouble, gaining a few scars from punishment. Watching Aura , another of Altair's slaves, cause scenes and get severely punished for them, she quickly lost all motivation to fight back and views this behavior as just unnecessarily reckless and naive.
Suffice it to say, her freedom was a surprise. She never really considered freedom to be an option before all Austerian slaves were freed.
Now, that she's free and brought back to the Austerian Kingdom, Cyriel has trouble adjusting to society. She isn't used to free will and no one giving her orders. She's also unsure of what kind of job she wants to take now, never really having learned anything concretely. Growing herbs was never her passion, but she's still trying to figure out what exactly her passion is.

She's found work as Duchess Sybil's Hoofmaid and is rather content in this line of work. The Duchess is nice to her but she doesn't have to think too hard for herself.

In the Winter of 2000, Cyriel had a short affair with Fenriel that resulted in her becoming pregnant much sooner than she would have liked. And if that wasn't enough, she suddenly started sprouting wings as well, leading to her having a bit of a breakdown. Fenriel and her relationship didn't survive the strain and they broke it off rather messily.

Since she is afraid of becoming a bad mother, she decides that Sybil and her wife Alska would be a better fit to raise her daughter. The two mares were hoping for a child either way and this gives Cyriel the opportunity to be close to her child without having to worry about the responsibility.
