Callum Rumford
Ever since he was a child, Callum wanted to be a swordfighter. However, due to him being an only child, his parents were set on getting him married to anothe rnoble man, to continue the lineage of their family.
Born a woman, Callum detested the thought and ignored his parents pleas. When he was 16 hois parents had found a suitor for him and he was so appalled that he knew now it was time to act. He went through a lot of trouble and money to acquire a rare and expensive potion that would change his outer appearance to match his gender. He succeeded, but lost his parents respect for from their perspective, he'd acted selfishly.

He legally changed his name from Callista to Callum and left his home to join the Queen's army, where he trained hard and was eventually promoted to commander of his own platoon.
The injustice that mages endure in the army left him devastated however and he's struggling with the fact that now he has to enfore the cruel rules that he opposes.

He is afraid of big bodies of water and failure.
