To start with, this is such a charming winter photo.

I like the composition, I can see you've followed the rule of thirds, I love the tracks in the snow, which draw the viewers eye into the photo. I also like how the trees bend over, as if reaching out to each other. I like how you've made it so the tracks lead around the corner, I feel like I'm actually there, staring at this scene myself!

I like the depth of field, everything that you want to be sharp and in focus, is. This scene looks like it might've been low-light, you have no noise in the photo, which is good.

All in all a great Winter photo! I'm in the middle of Summer here in Australia, so I always love looking at Winter photos with snow!

Vision - 4/5
I can tell you've looked at this scene, and thought about where to stand, I love the tracks going around the corner, drawing your eye into the photo.

Originality - 3.5/5
Everyone takes photos of snow, but you've taken a simple scene and made it that little bit unique.

Technique - 4/5
Beautiful composition, and a good aperture, iso etc.

Impact - 4/5
I love it e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="15" height="13" alt="" title="Heart"/>

thank you your honest critique. To tell you the ttuth i would like to show this picture how the trees bend over; there is snow eveywhere and nobody walk in that time here. Maybe this picture not the most interesting photo which ever made in this category but i'm trying all the time and it's a very good feelng to read critique like yours! thank you sooo much!

First i need to tell that winter photos are quite hard. Or it`s too dark, or too snowy or theres nothing interesting. Here i can see piece of nice work.

First what you see looking at it`s a cold, forgotten and somehow mystical road. Colors are quite sad, as my eye can`t stop at anything interesting. It could be improved by lowering light for darker trees - it should have bigger impact.

I like how it`s framed, road with sleigh marks on it goes deeper in the woods. Also i like how trees look, they observe every traveler going this road. House on the right is little distracting.

Overall it`s quite sad winter photo. I`ve seen winter photographed in nicer way. I think if You`ll put some work in it, it could be much better.

hy there
when i read your cririque first time i was a bit sad. I belived it's a better picture and quite good. And i read your text again. And i have to say i was happier because when i made this picture i walked on the snowy road and all the time feel sadness and something bad around me. And i remember i saw this tree and i stop to made a photo. That time i understood no one else is here. Just me and the forest. Whit this feeling i made a sad winter photo... i hope you understand now...
of course a watcher think it could be happier but in winter everthing is dead most of all the nature...
well, thank you that you wrote me crituque. It means me lot because i am just a beginner and i have to learn lot. And i can learn if somebody write me what is he thinking about my photo. Thank you!
