Description Choo choo.

In case anyone was wondering why my recent pictures have been crappy/nonexistant, the reason is I am finally in an actual real-life art class that teaches you things. Shocking, am I right? I am totally right.

It's the first time I've ever been in an art class. So whereas before I could just draw whatever I wanted and then get unmotivated and not finish it, now I can be given assignments to do and actually have to finish them before a deadline. Deadlines, imagine!

Yeah, actually I just draw whatever I want anyway. This picture was supposed to be a combination of "geometrical" and "organic".

I got as far as the train...and the organic smokey stuff...but after that it went downhill.

Sorry about the absences and such, guys. Junior year is hard. Don't become one. It's bad for your health.

Firstly, I have to apologize again for being distant from DA for so long, school has gotten me caught up in so much stuff and I'm so sorry. I saw you have so much new artwork and I feel bad

Secondly, This is simply beautiful! You have captured a fairy complicated subject so simply and profoundly. It's like the dream train for artists because they work wit their hands to make dreams and fantasy a reality. The lighting on the train base really makes it look like shiny metal and you have the angle in such a way that it looks completely realistic three-dimensionally. Your style of always leaves me staring at it. You have such a designers mind. Maybe now that you have deadlines, there will be some more awesome things that make it here on DA I have the same thing so we will both see!

No problem, you should never ever apologize for that! You must be super busy, I'm just glad you're back. And not TOO much new artwork, unfortunately. Or perhaps fortunately. I am horribly lazy.

Oh, thank you for all the lovely crit, thank you thank you

...Actually, the text was a last minute decision...XD My original theme was organic and geometric (i.e hands vs train) then came the weird colors then came the weird background THEN came the text. Weird how it happened! But glad you think it isn't too weird compared to the rest of it, haha.

Oh I hope deadlines will help! And your pictures can barely get better, they are already top-class. So you're going to be lovely!

(Designer's mind my left toe! I have more of the mind of a colorblind orangutan.)

At least you have some artwork to post! And, not only that, but its also high-quality work. I feel horribly lazy, but most of the work I've been doing is rough still life sketches as accurate as possible and I figure posting pictures of messy chairs and boxes wouldn't be all that great
Hopefully, there will be something better soon!

Everything works well, don't worry about it. Sometimes the last minute decisions are the best ones. XD I find that the crazy last minute touches tend to pull a whole piece together.

Oh, don't worry, I have plenty of room for improvement! I really feel like I'm learning something, which I love, instead of those loose art classes. The art professor really likes me though and he rarely critiques me like the other kids. Makes me feel a little special

I would never call YOU colorblind! You definitely know how to use color, give yourself some more credit! Trust me, I have seen colorblind orangutans and you are not one of them

Well, I have at least an artwork per week now, because of my Studio class. It's really cool, although so far of course I haven't had the chance to submit any of it. Maybe at the end of the year...
They can't be messy if YOU do them. It would be cool to see some of your college stuff!

Really? Them crazy last minute touches will be the death of me, I swear. Ha.

Oh that's so cool! So the classes are really well done?
And the professor likes you, haha, why didn't you see that coming? How can you tell, does he wax rhapsodic about you?

You've seen...
OH I thought you meant literally, I was about to say Well that's kind of mean to orangutans, hahaha
Thanks dude.

I love you.

Do you like the text at the bottom or is it off-putting?

This is so amazing!! I love the idea of the hands coming out of the train.. with the bright colors.. it adds darkness, for me, anyway.

Oh, and thanks for all the faves today, dear!

Oooh thank you very much miss.

By darkness do you mean symbollically, or did the power go off, or something of that sort? I hope you do not mind me asking as I am rawther curious.

No problem at all. Your writing is so very creative, it inspires me to actually get things done.

You're so welcome! Of course I don't mind you asking!
I was thinking like.. they are just arms, they seem to be reaching for something they can't get, and maybe going somewhere they don't belong in this train.. so to pair that feeling with such bright colors heightened the contrast for me. If that makes sense. (:

Oh I see. That's very interesting...it's always lovely when people see it in ways I didn't expect. I guess it's some subconcious decision based on traumatic childhood experience. Or maybe I just really really wanted to draw hands. Hmmmmmmmm.

Thank you!

That's the nice thing about writing! For me, it is very much more personal and emotional than my art. I feel embarrassed showing it to people, hahaha.

I would agree that writing is very personal. It's hard to share sometimes.. I don't know. I close my eyes and push "submit."

I simply love all those hands.

My god, I want to hug then and hold them and love them and snuggle them and marry them and make love to them and be with them forever.

Dude it's a metaphor

the train represents sex

the smoke represents your love, never to be realized

the hands represent enormous bastards that don't give a flying hoohah

the blue color represents the fact that I like blue

(Thank you )
