Description
This was the initial reason that I did the silhouettes. I had been participating in Super Smash Bros Stage Creation contest on Smashboards... And it resulted in this. And then I decided to just go with it. I'm really glad I did.The stage itself isn't vector, but I'm not sure where else to place this categorically.

Saw your work on Smashboards when I was searching for stage ideas months ago. I really like that you did this, man. The silhouette levels in Returns were amazing and it's cool to see what such a level would look like in Smash. I personally don't advocate for the level idea like a lot of people did because besides the fact that there's other DKC stages I'd prefer, I don't think it's very feasible for them to pull this off. Not only do they have to make silhouettes for every character and their palette swaps (and make sure none of the palettes look similar when silhouetted), but Assist Trophies, Items and Pokeball Pokemon too. But if they did manage to put all that work into it then it would be a pretty incredible effort just for this level.
I like how you made silhouettes for every playable character and their palette swaps and not just for a few characters you used in this image; they're pretty well-done. If you don't mind me saying though I think a lot of them aren't done in quite the same way how Retro Studios would do them. In both Returns and Tropical Freeze they only ever highlight on particular colour and nothing else, but a lot of yours have multiple colours selected. Not that there's anything bad about that; just thought it was worth pointing out.

Yeah, I agree that Retro would probably do a lot of them differently. Less colors than I did, mostly. But it started out as me emulating them and then I kind of molded it to my own thing, eventually.
