This is so interesting, when reading that description you'd think of just a normal white-furred lion. But the little marks like the longer jaw make it seem like so much more than just a white lion, it looks like its own species entirely.

Thank you, that's a good observation. I feel like unique animals like this definitely need more than just a palette change to make them special, and I suppose I also took inspiration from prehistoric animals to influence GRRM's more fantastical animals. Like the lizard-lion
