Awesome drawing. Yet the answer is actually No. Because T-rex and hisΒ Tyrannosauridae Β fellows probably had dense patches or even full body coat of feather-like filaments, and some other anatomical particularities that aren't depicted in this drawing. This resembles a member ofΒ Abelisauridae Β or something like that. Amazing drawing though

haha WHAT. I'm aware they had feathers. But theres a dude with a gun in this piece. Its all fantasy. Don't look too much into the scientific basis of this painting. It's a t-rex.Β

But it's so satisfying when people draw them closer to what these animals really looked like, it encourages more people to look into scientific bases upon which they build their fantasy worlds, because that is what makes them detailed and believable because no man can create a system so convoluted and at the same time coherent and natural as the Nature herself, it gives a feeling of this world actually existing outside of the stories that are tolled in it, that opens the room for other people to expand it and to fantasize themselves, and in the end, isn't that what fantasy is for?

I just didnt give it feathers(which i know and agree is probably true) but the rest is relatively accurate to what is modernly considered trex. This isn't Charle's Knights' rex from the 1930's so im sure people arent be completely lead astray but what im depicting here. Β

Without a doubt, it's a t-rex. And it looks great so no worries.Β
