In dedication of Japan. I didnt want to put anime because then it seems I only care because its the anime capitol of the world. and simply because I hate anime. But I did add Godzilla, because he represents the forces of nature and such and how resilient the people of Japan are.So yea, heres a non-loser-anime drawing dedicated to the victims of the earthquakes and tsunami's.

I don't really see this as anime at all. It harken back to an earlier era of Japanese art. And sadly the idiot anime geeks seem to forget that Japan had art BEFORE anime and manga came along. And Godzilla was NEVER more fun than in the pre-CG era. Bad rubber suits and all! I like this. Hats off to you, Sir.

i know a lot of people like the new godzilla look, but for me, it is merely just another actor trying to recreate the legend who passed in the 90s.
this is godzilla, with the slopping mouth, thick eyebrow ridges, and a human stance with usable arms. and the eyes. intelligent, focused.
the color here is perfect to reflect the classic nihon no style that gojira deserves. you kanji is lovely, your background scenery adding the ancient earthy taste of fuji with the futuristic likeness of japanese metropolitanism. and the red sun, tasteful amongst the monotone simple elegance of this picture.

I completely agree with you. People try to do too many redesigns of him and that, for me, kinda kills the new of him, which I do like.

i guess im a more serious type. like the last movie was good for action and monsters, but i missed the feel that the original had. and that, i believe, the 90s did really well at bringing back.

This is rightous. It reminds me of traditional Japanese art.
This is an image that I had often imagine but, due to a lack of artistic talent, found difficult to create.
The only difference is that I had a Japanese castle instead of a city.
