I like the sheer detail of this armor, the armor gives Lightning a demonic look.

Very interesting design. I liked the pauldron on her left shoulder, the way it looks like a wing (suggestive of Sephiroth from FF7), and the patches of bared skin and flared thigh guards are reminiscent of both Kuja from FF9 and Fran from FF12. Nice touches, IMHO.

This one should definitelyΒ be a winner! I like that you kept her similar to the way she is instead of completely changing her. She still has a sword and a shield which is awesome and not in many other peoples entries. This looks like it took forever! I'm obviously not as good as you, but I spent hours drawing one perspective of her that was barely detailed compared to yours. You have at least 3 here!

Normally i would do a rough sketch on the design first in a sketchbook
then redo the whole thing from scratch in PhotoshopΒ
and it would end up something like what you see now.
