So use to happen to me. Still does on the occation. I've learned to be happy with my art after going through a time when I hated my art. Now my art is what it is. I still work on it and try to improve, but I am content with what I can draw.

I feel the same. It's either the eyes are to small or to large, the head to big for the body, the head to small for the body and all that crap. Even if I was world famous artist, I'll still be wondering if I like it.

I can sorta relate on the artwork perfectionism, but I pretty much always feel happy or at least feel lukewarm emotionally. I'm pretty much mellow. So glad I turned out this way, since my dad is a hyper sensitive emotional wreck.
But back on subject I'd say that last comic strip was more about your frustration with perfection causing unhappiness. Hope you find an escape to that frustration that will fill you with happiness, mine's the ocean~
