The first piece of art I was commissioned to do for Derpycon 2015 , a pop-culture convention in Morristown, NJ Dec 4-6. Their theme this year is "80's 8-Bit" and this was meant to be kind of a teaser ad for it featuring the con's mascots. We'll get to see more of the 8-bit part in some of the other art I'm doing for them.Related content

Now those are some pretty crazy characters! Pretty neat, I like their expressions, especially how the random chick in the shark suit appears totally unfazed by the utter weirdness. Great work on the lightning too!Β

Pretty sure that's done on purpose. The girl in the front is a human Derpy, and in the pony fandom she's usually portrayed as the companion to the pony version of the Doctor.
