"Join the Nintendo Fun Club today, Kevin!"So I finally got the new Punch Out for Wii and had to do a comic inspired by it.
Sadly, I've been so busy with deadlines and comics that I've had little time to play it. Oh well. I'll get to it sooner or later.
I hope Maximo doesn't mind being put in the Doc Louis role. He's definitely more of a "Little Mac" kind of guy (and much thinner than me. heh heh).

There are probably people out there who'd PAY to have Little Mac as their boxing coach, and the guy's not even real. If you look at it that way, I'd think Maximo would think it's a win-win situation whether he's Mac OR Doc.
...It's funny that I'm even saying this, because I'm not sure who this Maximo fellow is.

That large head looks like a good weakness. I think my friend who has the Wii will be getting this new Punchout. Like I told you before the other night, I don't have a Wii although I've thought about getting one, I don't play games nor have the desire much to justify spending the money on it. If my friend gets the game I'll get a chance to check it out.
Anyway, cool comic. I love these life inspired comics. Keep them coming, Kev.
