I think I've done far too many "meta" strips lately and, at least to me, nothing is more boring and self-indulgent than a cartoonist doing nothing but cartoons about cartooning. So, let's cook! BREAKFAST TOTS FOR EVERYONE!

I don't get it. What oven goes up to 425 degrees? and what can you possibly make that wont get completely burned by that.
I mean you all know water boils at exactly 100 degrees and freze at 0 degrees, so 425 degrees are pretty dam hot.

Fahrenheit dosn't make sense. Celsius is practical in common life as it is based on the phase-shifts of water.
It is logical to say -2 degrees when it's freezing, as everything on Earth is based on and dissolved (to some matter of degree) on/in water.
Kelvin is the other logical scale of temperatures, based on the absolute thermodynamic zero, very practical in science.
But Fahrenheit that goes into the same class as Reaumur, Rankine and Delisle.
I mean we aren't using sticks and hands to measure length any-more.
We have the SI system that is a coherent logical system based on the number 10 and used everywhere.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason why you ink half of every panel black? Or is it just to get rid of any possible need for a background? XD

I think the comics look really faint if there's no black, but I like to use a little black on the characters so if the panel was ALL black, it would suck them right up. I typically don't like these comics to get too busy visually, so I only include a non-impressionistic background if it's important to the comic (ie: bathrooms, bookstores, etc). It's just a preference thing, really. Thanks for the question. ^_^
