I always thought that the style of anime from the 80's was always uber pretty, and even though I wasn't alive back then it always somehow makes me feel nostalgic. There's a kind of weird magic that was present in the air around that time.

I dreamed of having more of a family like Alf.
Prime I saw as more boyfriend material.

If I could pick my family, Liam Neeson would be my dad, Jennifer Tilly would be my mom, Johnny Depp would be the weird uncle who drops in every so often, and Morgan Freeman would be my neighbor.
(Mr. Rogers would be my other neighbor and Bob Ross would live across the street)

My ideal 80's sitcom family would be Optimus Prime, Optimus Prime and Optimus Prime. This is amazing, I love it!

The fact that you chose Claire Huxtable as your mom makes me cry tears of respect & joy. I hope to be that kinda mom someday: Winning clients, punching out dictators and making pies pizza or otherwise.

The Cosby Show was one of the very few gems I enjoyed growing up. Also, consider Laura and Rob from the Dick Van Dyke show. They would have been awesome parents.

Hey Kevin, do you remember the classics like: The Smurfs, Inspector gadget, Batman the animated series- back when it was good, and The amazing spider-man? The 90's one is still the BEST spider-man series in my opinion along with the X-men!
Although... I'm probably the only person in the world who has physical scars from watching Inspector Gadget.
I heard the theme song, ran to the living room, tripped over the living room rug, and crashed into the coffee-table. I cut open my face under my nose and ended up missing my show because I had to go to the hospital and get stitches.
On top of that the emergence room people though I had been abused and kept asking if my mommy hit me and it was okay to tell them.
Thankfully my doctor at the time just happened to be there, was about to walk passed when he recognized me and asked me what I did this time.
I told him what happened, he told the others to let me go I was fine, and then told me next time listen to my mother when she say no running in the house.
I was a very clumsy child.
