I've heard horror stories from my peers and from around the internet. As it is I've barely grazed the surface of tumblr- I'm scared that I'll find something really dark. As it is my dash is constantly filled with guro...

The way I see it, 4chan is a bunch of assholes and a good lot of decent folk. Tumblr... everyone's either high or jacked up on caffeine, mostly art and fandoms. Reddit is your welcoming, anti-troll community, with a hand in pretty much everything.
And I tend to stay away from the guro myself xD

This implies then that you and the people like you devote time and effort into figuring out what you think and believe for /yourself,/ rather than conform yourself to fit under the confines of a pre-approved societal label. I dunno, man... That seems like a lot of work, and more than a little scary. And how will people like governments and organizations be able to conveniently classify you into social groups, income brackets, and target audiences? Most people /like/ to be catered and pandered to, you know. Deviants like you upset the established, comfortable order for the rest of us. By the way, this offends me, so you should all stop talking about it so that I don't need to devote any energy in coming up with a reasonable counter-argument.
Seriously though, an excellent comic. It also rather cheers me up how many people relate to this. Come, we must unite as the free-thinkers of society! Those who will not be herded into boxes! Anyone who agrees with me gets a t-shirt and a cookie!
