I think KB is trying to make Falcon out to be a tool, so he uses "street" nicknames for like dawg, acts really chummy with everyone while really being a jerk, etc. And calling Link Luigi's girlfriend is a dig at Link being the "pretty" boy of the nintendo world (longer hair, slightly feminine features, wears a tunic that looks like a dress, etc.) as well as being Luigi's "date".
