During my weekend at the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Winter Conference, I took my notes in the form of doodles. Behold! The secret sketchy (and slightly emo) goings-on of my brains during the event. This is page four of six.(Oh, and don't tell Libba Bray you saw this X_x)

There is certainly a particular subset of writers I'll never understand. I think it's the air of pretension. The rest ARE cool, though.

I can't relate to anyone who comes off as insincere, and that was unfortunately the case for some of these speakers. X_x
