Buying 93 million miles worth of 6" pvc pipe, at an average cost of $12 a ft, is roughly 6 quadrillion dollars. (very rough math here)
From what the comic suggest...Kevin's dad think his son is loaded...to the extreme!! 
But really with that much $, you can really solve the energy crisis...heck, you can probably just buy the sun, if it was ever on sale.
