Description
A quote that I came up with myself while thinking about some personal things. I decided that I wanted to write it down, make it look good, and show it to other people and inspire them to also be happy despite what may be wrong in their lives.
Color Choices: I took my colors from the flags of the two sexualities stated, which are here ([link] ). Gay is a rainbow, straight is black and white, but I chose to make the straight shades of grey because even being straight there is no black and white, but shades of grey and so many variations.

I find it humorous how people have to find something to tear apart. They can't just accept this and go "Hey you know, just being happy is the best choice" no, they have to say "Well 'straight' is boring and you are saying we are boring etc. etc. etc.". Come on people. Obviously this person didn't mean for it to be 'dull' or 'boring'. I highly doubt that was intended. I don't think gay and straight are the problems with the world and its happiness, I think it is simply people can't be happy. They have to find something to make them unhappy.
Anyhow.
Great piece. I love what you did and I think, to make others less angry with this, letting "Happy" be colorful then go into a gray or something would have been better. To show both worlds, you know? I think it's great though the way it is ^^

This question comes up a lot, so I'm just going to answer it here.
Different sexual orientations have been assigned different colors and color spectrums. Heterosexuality is affiliated with a greyscale one. It's like when people associate boys with blue and girls with pink. There is not necessarily a rhyme or reason to it. It was simply established as a method of differentiation.

I sure am! Everybody should be. And noone has the right to tell someone they can't be happy the way they are!(as long as they don't commit a crime, for excample: pedophiles are just as fine as people ith rape fantasies, as long as they don't act on that, I mean, they're just people, too!
And maybe you're bi... some scientist think that 70% of the world's population is bi, around 20% purely hetero and the rest purely gay. It's the same way with handedness. We are (most likely) born without it told or see how others act and they mostly use the righthand. So we try to imtate that.(in the past, left handed people were linked with the devil

It still doesn't make sense because it was an either/or question. "Happy" wasn't one of the options. If it was "If someone said to me, would you be gay or straight..." and the answer as "Happy." then *that* would show him rebelling against the labels people are so insistent on applying. Unfortunately, it is just clumsily worded.

I understood what the artist meant, thank you. There is no need to call me an arrogant prick. Why would I bother checking your nationality before calling you out on your poor grammar and spelling? Not that it should matter anyway. I speak German and if I am unsure on the spelling of a word, I check it online using a dictionary. I don't just write it anyway. As for grammar, English grammar isn't particularly hard to learn so I imagine you just can't be bothered, rather than it being a case of your struggling.
