Description This is another skill test as I prepare for an upcoming Skyrim fan-art I know you will enjoy. It will be dark and moody in emotion, but cold and bright in color. It will have snow and blood, pure and rich.

Keep on the look out for it. I promise it will be good if you are a Skyrim fan. I also promise it will be like my other paintings in a way that it has nothing to do with Dragonborn or any other main story stuff.
It should have a similar feeling as one of the great stories read in-game.

Do you think I should have a dragon flying in the background? This is basically the top portion of my final painting I plan to do.

Here is just the left side of the canvas as it was last time I posted.
Not much has changed except the new areas added are less saturated to feel cold.

I think it needs something to brighten it up, because right now it's just snow and rock. Cold and forbidding. Even the trees are black instead of green!

So one or more dragons would help, especially a dragon who isn't grey or black. Odahviing, perhaps?

Good points.  Since this is the top third of the painting, I was working on maybe transitioning to the Rift in the foreground.  It has some orange and green colors that should play on the cold and blue.  I think a dragon would be nice, although I might make him dark like the trees for autmosphere.  I'm afraid it will be hard to tell how big he is if he wasn't blending into the snow colors.  I'll see.

Thanks for the advice.

Very nice. Yeah, I think a dragon would add just a little more foreboding to it.
