Description
My current blender WIP. Blender is this amazing freeware 3D modeler. get it at: [link]anyway, I started this project about a week ago. The console itself is nearly complete. The game packs are this odd pinkish color, which I still need to fix. The controllers are basically still cubes, the cables are kinked and the light gun's handle still isn't bump mapped.
I'm not gonna model all details, I'm gonna leave that for my next project. The Background and text are done in CorelDRAW, as well as most of the logos on the models.

Pardon me for criticizing but,
isn't the NES cartridge itself supposed
to be gold?

All Licenced Carts From Nintendo Are Grey, But Some Carts Of The Legend Of Zelda Are Gold

It's based on my system and my game. My game ain't gold. It's one of those "newer" releases

Nice job, looking good.
I really don't know, though, if the bottom gray area of the system is really that reflective. I thought that it's just a flat gray paint.
Then again, I haven't seen the NES for about oh say 12 years, so I could be wrong. ^^

It's based on my NES. I kinda shined it a while ago... It's really reflective now...

That is pretty damned cool. The only real qualms I have is the fact that the controller's D-Pad is missing the imprinted arrows on it (plus the center dimple) and the B and A buttons seem to be missing their dimples, too.

Yea, I got lazy after I finished the console and didn't do anything for the controllers... on top of that I lost the model, so I can't fix anything yet...

Yeah for Yoshi's Cookie, played it almost to death on my Game Boy.
And a nice render, but the Crosspads are a little less detailee.
And I cannot really compare the control deck with my own, as there's a prominent 'European Version' underneath the NES-Font (It looks kinda empty without it)

Weren't they selling the remodeled NES by the time the non-gold Legend of Zelda was available?

I shouldn't know, I bought the non-gold version years after I bought my NES

But you should know! You are imitating packaging from the era of the gold! And to show another late release, the fabled-Yoshi's Cookie there on the right would be nothing less than to punch in the nose the space time continuum, had it a nose! You ought to be ashamed!

XD I just made my own NES system in 3D, space time continuum be damned XD In fact, I own the entire Space Time Continuumยฎ trilogy. I bought the rights straight off of Einstein himself

Quite impressive, though in my opinion you should've rendered the Zapper in grey plastic instead of orange since I thought the grey plastic ones looked better, like the black guns that came with the Japanese versions of Virtua Cop for the Sega Saturn back in the day.

Well, for me the orange controller has the most sentimental value, since it was bundled with my very first game system It doesn't matter how it looks XD

well .. it's a really good render .. but maybe the controler's boutons would nead a bit more shine... but i'll say everything else is excelent .. good job
