This is amazing, seriously this is one of the best ways to depict Chrysalis, although it might be a bit scary for the young audience. Besides that, I am astonished by how far you have come for the initial concept sketches, seeing it evolve into this was TOTALLY worth the wait. One of the best parts of this painting has to be the shading around her face, it just looks so realistic. The use of the red hues to emphasize the details in her face worked really well to your advantage, not to forget how it shows the Queen's sinister side. I also love the details, whether it is her horn or he pods in the background you really put a ton of effort in illustrating how bug like this race is. I really like the composition of the piece as well, for it centered around her face slowly leads to the rest of her body. A amazing job! If I was going to Bronycon I would buy a print. Keep up the great artwork!
