I have finished a reference sheet for my ole D&D character. I don't really need one, but I like making them fsr.
He has a weird story of creation. Only recently I have been feeling confident enough to show him, as around a week after I created him, and been googling tiefling outfits in wonder of how other artist handle tails, I have stumbled upon an artist who had a character eerily similar to Brandywine. Knowing how people online are, I got scared I'd be accused of stealing, and decided not to upload any image I make of him. Even though I even contacted said artist, explaining the situation, and they were cool with this. Still, I wasn't. I guess, since then, I grew a slightly thicker skin, eh?

Brandywine was a part of a travelling circus crew for a very, very long time. He started off as an acrobat, his then-wiry shape and flexible tail allowing for amazing tricks; while his natural skill in light magic adding flair with lights and sparks, and smoke to his artistic routine. As he grew older, he became more like his giant of a father - heavier, and bulkier, and too large to safely do the acrobatics tricks. With physical training shaping him quite well, Brandywine switched to... let's just call it, exotic dancing. Exotic dancing that was especially popular during parties.
He got to adventuring in a very weird way. Getting used to such work fast, in his early 20s he was payed to give a visit to a young woman on her bachelorette party. Being of a noble bloods, she didn't have a lot of excitement in her life, and thus, was obsessed with adventure novels, which was the theme of her party: adventuring. He was waiting in a public house outside to be invited in, dressed appropriately, doing nothing until one of the servants would fetch him, when suddenly, a group of people approached. "Are you the mage we paid for?", they asked. "That I am!", Brandywine replied, and was swiftly dragged away with them. And out of the city. Into the woods. To fight an aggressive pack of giant boars. 'Well, aren't they taking their roleplaying games seriously!', he was thinking for the longest time, not realising there was a mix-up, and it just so happened, that in the same place and at the same time, the real group of adventurers were to meet a real wizard they hired to fulfil the contract. However, the excitement of actual adventuring was much more thrilling to Brandywine, so soon alter he decided to leave the circus in pursue of something much more interesting. His only hope if that the real wizard found his new passion in 'dancing' too.
