I'm not exactly sure how I learned? I think just over time I've looked at a bunch of photoshop tutorials and I decided to try it here!
Basically just get a base color, and then add in lights and shadows. It would look cooler if your lights and shadows weren't just black and white, so... don't do what I did up there.
Also, a tablet helps.
