Sometimes the breakthrough isn't a thunderIt's quiet opening in the air that knows your name
and rewarded your patience
It always feels a long time in coming
That's part of the point
How long are you in this for?
If it's not "However long it takes"
then get out of the race
But that's not what I recommend
Be in this till the end
To endure is to be rewarded
This sat ready to be painted for maybe a year.
Brooke was marvelous and deserved speedier turnaround.
But oftentimes it just takes the time it takes.
So on a Tuesday night was the time this chose to be born.
Itβs like thatβ¦.
