While I liked the Man of Steel movie I found it kinda of grim sometimes. I miss the happy, smiling Superman from the Christopher Reeve's movies. So, it's not surprise my favorite scene in the movie was Superman's first flight. It's all there, the pure joy and sense of wonder I missed in the movie...and Hans Zimmer's theme make the scene still stronger.Costume is Joe Quick and Nadino's Mach 1.6 free bodysuit with my own textures (boots, S-shield and costume details done with diffuse and displacement maps), cape and bracelets by inLite studio.
Background is a photo from RGBStock (edited with Photoshop), cracks done with "Cracks Photoshop Brushes" by Deviant redheadstock.
