Description
I just updated my Superman model, I made new textures for the costume and played a lot with the morphs.I tried to get the feel of the classic ending sequence of the Christopher Reeve Superman movies. I hope you like it.

Superman costume is from Joequick's Golden Age set, with my own textures (including the s-shield).

Trivia: At the very end of this iconic shot, Chris's glance and friendly smile directly at the camera wasn't scripted. HE did that just because, and Dick Donner just had to keep it in.

And I'm very glad he did it, because it was great. Reeve made a great Superman, human and larger than life at the same time.

If you've got the Superman DVD, dial up the commentary track. Donner and Mankiewitcz (sp. is awful, I know) talk about the flick and how casting Chris Reeve was the master stroke of the film.
Example: Chris was a pilot, so he understood how masses behave in flight. So all of Superman's in-flight swimming motions were based on Chris's training in banking and use of control surfaces. You know that final-second bank Kal-El does as he leave the Fortress of Solitude for the first time? Chris did that off the cuff as well, knowing by his training that bodies in motion in the air would need to tilt like that to make that sharp turn.
