Thank you. It was just one of those things that demanded to be photographed. Unlike all the other stuff I photograph that scream Β "no don't take my photo" and I insist on anyway - like my current foray into twisty ties.Β Β

Thank you. I originally took it because I loved the gearing and the depth of each of them. I looked at this through a 4x microscope before shooting it (shot with a bellows and 35 mm lens). It was after I took the photo that I realized how well the ground patterns came through due to my lighting choice. The microscope lighting did not due them justice at all.

It is beautiful. The manufacturer for this watch is Waltham. It does not work. Just as a note, it is not the same watch as I show the Watch on Silk photo.
