I was doing a study last month for a Sunday School lesson on 1st Corinthians 10, and the 13th verse jumped out at me: "God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear". The enemy is trying to his hardest to trip us up and watch us fall, and one tactic he does that is through temptations. And many times the enemy is successful. Even though God made a way for us to escape, we give in.

But the coolest part about this verse, to me, is that God doesn't allow all temptations to come our way. The enemy cannot do anything to us without God expressly allowing it. So I envisioned a spiritual setting in which the enemy is constantly trying to harm us, and God tells him "No, you are not going to go another inch forward".

So I wanted to illustrate this concept and hopefully be an encouragement to you all. God is fighting for you, constantly. And all you need to do is be still.

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." (Exodus 14:14)
