This is freaking amazing. You actually managed to pull of a couple of things that really amaze me on this one, and it makes me somewhat sad, that it doesnt get more attention.
For one, you managed to mix in a dark atmosphere whilst still playing around with many different and nice colours, that work together perfectly... without making it look stupid. And that is a rear sight. Especially on deviant art. That has got mostly to do with 'colour theory'. Something that is hard to understand and be able to use in practice. And the second amazing thing are 2 main focuses that dont take away from each other but rather work together. Something that mostly ruin a specific artwork are elements the artist add too the main focus that really do take away... but in this case the colourful background makes it look interesting and beautiful whilst the man from behind adds A LOT of tension and creates curiosity within the viewer... also the way he poses. Stiff and looking down, somewhat intimidating really. Well done. Nice photograph. I would like to imagine a story too this one

I would like to say I had everything all planned out, with the color theory and all the light and dark proportions and stuff. But really I just had a sketch and kept playing with it until I liked it.
