Wisdom is worth more than silver; it brings more profit than gold. (Proverbs 3:14)

you do know that that picture was meant to mean that the church is corrupted by the dollar. but i think it was never corrupted, but meant to collect as much money as possible.

unfortunately there are many churches out there that preach the "prosperity gospel" which says that if you give money to the church, then God will bless you financially. That is not what the Bible teaches, and the picture I created was to bring awareness to the prosperity gospel. God sent His Son to die for us, so that we might have everlasting life. This is the free gift of God, and it does not cost any money. It is horrible that some churches have corrupted this message and tried to make the gift of God something it is not.

well with all the vague answers from people it's making it hard to take christainity seriously, and therefore making it a religion that i'm not wanting to convert to. i'd appreciate some answers from people other than bible verses, or simple answers that can be debunked. :/

Christianity is unlike any other religion. Every other religion will say that you have to do something to go to heaven, whether its doing good works, or giving money, or attending services, etc. In Christianity, everything has already been done when Jesus died on the cross. All we have to do is accept his free gift of salvation. Why do we need salvation? Because we are sinners. Even if we do a lot of good in our life, there are still a lot of bad things too. Some people sin more than others, but everyone is guilty of sin. After living on earth for many years, that ends up being a pretty large pile of things we have done that aren't acceptable. If you are perfect, then you would not need to worry though. Your righteousness would save you. But if you have sinned, then you have a problem. And the solution to the sin problem was Jesus giving up his life on the cross. If you have more questions, ill be glad to talk to you in private messages. I hope I answered a few of your questions, but I know you have more. Have a great day!
