Description
We teach our kids not to touch something hot, because they will get burned and seriously hurt. We should be telling them about all the dangers that the world offers too.Related content

This is incredibly sad.
It says to me, the fascination of the unknown can bring about it's own darkness, and burning of the world. By overindulging in the corrupt and convoluted world, false memories and conspiracy theories, psychosis and other mental illness can take over, and the devil can return. Don't touch something at such a young age that you don't understand, otherwise you will get dragged under, and the burning of the world is the only thing you will experience.
And the father is trying to protect his daughter, by pulling her back and trying to protect her from losing an early childhood, and seeing the darkness in the land.

Oh my goodness, I love this so very much! This is such a fantastic image!
On the note of parenting, I have a philosophy. Some may not agree. I am always honest with my son, I never tell him lies. But I do tell him not to do things, and I TELL HIM WHY! That is the biggest problem I had as a kid, "because I said so" is just so lame. We all just want to know why! Sometimes, I will show him, safely, why something is dangerous. Like, he can touch the oven door and it is really warm, it won't hurt him, but this helps him get the point that the stove is dangerous. We can do the same thing with people. We can show them that if we make certain choices, we could end up like that. It is difficult to be a good parent, especially in this world. The fact that you are actually trying to be a good parent is astronomical. Don't ever under estimate the importance of effort. There are too many parents who just don't care. Okay, that's my soapbox spiel. LOVE THIS PICTURE

Amazing image. It makes me think, we shouldn't try to box our young in and restrict what they know to a narrow view of what is safe and wholesome, leaving vacant an understanding of what is perilous, and unfair. Without this I think a growing person's fundamental definitions in life become much more influenced by a risk versus reward kind of mindset, rather than seeking deeper meaning.Β Well, just a thought anyway. Nice image.

"NO! Don't go there! That place is infested with humans!"
"But they look like us, Daddy!"
"Honey, they might look like us, but they are very, very scary."

Wow, this has such a deep meaning. You're right, of course. Parents should tell their kids of how dangerous the world could be, but they shouldn't scar them for life. Yes, there are dangerous people out there, and natural disasters can occur anywhere in the world (hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, volcanoes), however, children should know the good as well, such as Earth's history, the natural wonders of the world,Β and the all the good people out there. Both the good and the bad can be said at the same time, but don't make children cling to one idea more than the other of how the world works. It could affect their growing up and not enjoying childhood as they should. Plus, eventually, parents will have to let their children go out into the world by themselves and faceΒ their fears. This picture shows a parent protecting his child, but thatΒ will happen less when the child grows up. Reality is hard to bear with, and it is nice to escape from it now and again, but they need to learn to balance it out. I know I had to balance that out after I finished high school. Life can seem a struggle, but you only live once.

One tribe of Indians somewhere in the US at one point in time didn't warn children not to touch the fire and if a child tried they let them but if the child were to start falling in the fire the adult would help and save them from getting burned.Β Sorry i don't remember what tribe they were.Β Also sorry if i spelled anything wrong or missed/added capitals where they were/were not needed.Β they let them learn through experience and helped them when needed.Β they didn't over shelter their kids like a lot of parents do today. don't over shelter a child but also don't destroy their childhood and dreams through neglect.Β we as people need to find a happy medium.Β
have a good day
or don't the choice is yours
(again sorry for any mistakes)

absolutely. there's a balance between protecting your children from danger and allowing them to make their own mistakes.Β
