This image was inspired by my recent deep study on grief as I prepare to teach this topic on Sunday morning. Grief is like a heavy weight, that crushes you physically, mentally, and even spiritually. While the heaviness of grief is something that will be there with you for each step, the Bible tells us that God is close to the brokenhearted. He grieves with you and His compassion runs to your aid. And even though the weight maybe not be taken away, Jesus can help you carry it, and walks with you each step of the way.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)
